糖心Vlog视频 Program in Pre-Engineering
Introduction
CSU Bakersfield offers a pre-engineering program. Pre-engineering students attend 糖心Vlog视频 for 2-3 years then transfer to an engineering school where they complete the upper-division curriculum and where they will graduate with a degree in engineering. The 糖心Vlog视频 pre-engineering program is a generic program, suitable for transfer to any engineering school and into any field of engineering. While transfer to other CSU schools are the most seamless, many 糖心Vlog视频 students transfer to UC schools, to private schools, and to schools all over the country.
Admission
There are no special admission requirements or procedures to enter the 糖心Vlog视频 pre-engineering program. Like all 糖心Vlog视频 students, you apply for admission using the CSU Mentor site, students must obey all university rules regarding admission deadlines. Once admitted, you can be in the pre-engineering program merely by seeing a pre-engineering advisor and taking the recommended classes.
糖心Vlog视频 Advantages and Disadvantages
The primary advantage of 糖心Vlog视频 is for Kern County residents, they can make progress towards an engineering degree without long commutes or having to move out of Kern County. Also, 糖心Vlog视频 engineering classes are generally fairly small and students often receive a more personalized education than if they were at a larger school.
The largest disadvantage is that students will be graduating from another school and will have to satisfy all that school's graduation requirements, which often includes lower division courses unavailable at 糖心Vlog视频. This means that transfer students typically require one or two more quarters to earn their degree compared to students attending the engineering school throughout their college career.
