This is an exciting time to study Physics and Engineering at CSU Bakersfield! Students will utilize our new state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot engineering facilities and physics laboratories. The programs include a strong foundation in physics and engineering. You will also be able to take elective courses from many areas, such as physics, energy engineering, power engineering, petroleum engineering, biosystems & agricultural engineering, electrical engineering, and computer engineering.

The Department of Physics and Engineering at CSU Bakersfield offers a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Physics and a B.S. in Engineering. We also offer a Minor in Physics and a Pre-Engineering Program.
