Fall 2025 Eligible Graduates and RSVP
Eligible graduates for Fall 2025 Commencement are:
- Students who have completed a fall 2025 graduation application in my糖心Vlog视频.
- Summer 2025 graduates.
- Spring 2025 graduates who didn't participate in spring 2025 commencement.
- Spring 2025 graduates must email commencement@csub.edu to be added to the commencement RSVP system before the RSVP deadline.
The Commencement RSVP will open by noon on Tuesday, October 21 and closes Sunday, November 16 at 10pm. Eligible graduates will receive an email from the commencement RSVP software, Tassel, and complete the RSVP form by the deadline.
Guest tickets will open by noon on November 20 through the Tassel software. Once the maximum number of guest tickets per graduate is issued on November 20, no additional guest tickets will be issued.

糖心Vlog视频 has changes vendors to Balfour for your cap and gown package. They also have stoles and honor cords for purchase. It is important you add all your items to your order.
Purchasing Options
- Option 1: Pre-ordering is now open until Sunday, September 28 and students will pick up their items at 鈥楻unner Grad Day;
- Option 2: Purchase your cap and gown package at 鈥楻unner Grad Days; or
- Option 3: Select Delivered to Home to have your items mailed directly to your residence. Deadline to order online is Sunday, November 9.
Options 1 and 2 will save you on shipping fees.

What's the Difference Between Graduation and Commencement?
Graduation
Graduation is the completion and awarding of your degree and mailing of your diploma. This is overseen by the Office of the Registrar. The Office of the Registrar can assist students with:
- Changing their graduation application term
- Instructions on how to submit their online graduation application
Graduation Application Fee
The graduation application fee is paid online or to the cashier's office. The fee
is used to process your graduation application, and processing, printing and mailing
of your diploma. The fee is not associated with commencement.

Commencement
Commencement is the celebration of your academic achievement of earning a degree in higher education. The commencement ceremonies are overseen by the Commencement Office. The Commencement Office can assist students with:
- Ceremony questions
- Services provided at the ceremonies
- Cap and gown questions
- Recognition and cultural ceremonies
Commencement Fee
There is no fee to participate in commencement. Graduates are required to wear a cap
and gown to participate in the ceremony.

Online Graduation Application
Students are eligible for commencement by having an approved graduation application on file with the Office of the Registrar by the graduation application deadline with the current semester's term. Students who have submitted a graduation application after the deadline must ensure the late-submitted graduation application has the correct term to participate in commencement.
