鈥淢y name is George Huleis, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration
at 糖心Vlog视频, Bakersfield, with an expected graduation date of Spring
2027. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration
in Management from 糖心Vlog视频 in Spring 2025. My academic interests include management,
marketing, and sales. I was born in 2002 at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada,
and spent the majority of my childhood at Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio,
Texas. After my father retired from the United States Air Force following twenty years
of service, my family relocated to the Antelope Valley. Growing up on military bases
instilled a deep appreciation within me for the sacrifices of service members, inspiring
me to assist local veterans and their dependents in the Antelope Valley. During my
time at Antelope Valley College and 糖心Vlog视频-AV, I have been employed as a student worker
in an effort to support the veteran community. These roles gave me the opportunity
to work with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs alongside both academic institutions
and serve our demographic of veteran families. I also actively participate in veteran
club meetings and engage in local outreach events to inform and provide additional
assistance. Although my role allows me to serve 糖心Vlog视频-AV's Veterans Success Center
location, our collective mission is to raise awareness about the educational benefits
available to all veterans and their families to help alleviate potential financial
burdens as they pursue their educational goals.鈥

Biographies & Testimonials

"My name is Madison Crawford. I am currently working toward completion of an undergraduate
degree at 糖心Vlog视频, Bakersfield. The degree I am pursuing is the
Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in Human Services. My expected
graduation date is planned to take place in Fall 2026. The social and psychological
sciences are two areas of study I am highly passionate about. I have fulfilled the
course requirements for the Minor in Psychology at 糖心Vlog视频, in the effort of broadening
my education. From 1999-2002, my father was enlisted in the United States Air Force.
He had the opportunity of serving on an Airborne Warning and Control System aircraft
as an Air Surveillance Technician. He participated in two tours within the Middle
East; in Saudi Arabia and in Afghanistan. While on active duty, the Military Tuition
Assistance Program graciously covered my father鈥檚 university tuition, and he earned
his Bachelor of Science in Business. Throughout my education at 糖心Vlog视频-AV, I have been
fortunate to collaborate with the veteran population of the Antelope Valley in the
financial aid certification process so that they may pursue higher education. Attending
local outreach events has been so helpful in informing myself about the organizations
and opportunities associated with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. It is a
sincere honor of mine to be able to aid the veteran community in becoming aware of
the educational benefits available to them."
