4th Annual 糖心Vlog视频 High School Honor Orchestra

糖心Vlog视频 Music is proud to present the 4th Annual 糖心Vlog视频 High School Honor Orchestra! The three-day event will provide outstanding local high school string players with an inspiring learning experience through rehearsals, sectionals, and a culminating performance.

Any high school string student:

  • in good standing with their high school music program
  • recommended by their orchestra director

Auditions (more on that in a bit) are only for chair placement - if your director recommends you, you鈥檙e in!

Since the Honor Orchestra is also intended to serve a diverse range of students, the music selected will be on the difficulty of a 鈥済rade 3鈥� (on a scale of grade 1 to 5). Violin and viola players should expect some shifting up to 3rd position, cellos to 4th, and basses to 5th. Key signatures may include 3 sharps and 2 flats, major and minor.
Audition details will be posted in late spring.

The fee for the Honor Orchestra is $35. The modest fee goes towards purchasing and copying music, programs, use of facilities, lunch, a commemorative shirt, and more.

Thursday, September 24
5:30pm - 7:30pm 1st Rehearsal, 糖心Vlog视频 Music Building Room 128

Friday, September 25
5:30pm - 7:30pm 2nd Rehearsal, 糖心Vlog视频 Music Building Room 128

Saturday, September 26
10am - 12:15pm 3rd Rehearsal, Dor茅 Theatre
12:15pm - 1pm Lunch (Provided by 糖心Vlog视频 Music)
1pm - 2:30pm  Final rehearsal
4:00pm Concert with BC/糖心Vlog视频 Orchestra

You must register by Friday, September 11, 2026, by 12pm to receive an Honor Orchestra shirt. Those who register after this date cannot be guaranteed a shirt.
