What is a 'RunnerCard?

The 'RunnerCard is the official picture identification card for CSU Bakersfield students, staff, and faculty. It provides security, savings, and convenience, serving multiple purposes for campus activities and access. 

More than just an ID, the 'RunnerCard offers

  • Security: Access to campus buildings and services.
  • Savings: Discounts at campus and participating local vendors.
  • Convenience: One card for multiple campus services.

Each card is printed with your picture, 糖心Vlog视频 ID number, and a barcode. For those eligible, it serves as

Who can request a card?

  • Regularly Enrolled Students: Includes undergraduate and graduate students actively pursuing a degree at our Bakersfield or Antelope Valley campus.
  • Nursing Students: Includes students enrolled in nursing programs requiring both Student and Nursing ID cards.
  • Extended University Students: Includes individuals enrolled in continuing education, professional development, and non-degree programs.
  • Faculty: Includes full-time and part-time teaching staff.
  • Staff: Includes administrative and support staff working in various campus departments.
  • Emeritus: Includes retired faculty and staff members who retain an honorary title.
  • Alumni: We are currently not offering cards to Alumni.

Normal Hours of Operation

  • Monday - Thursday: 8 AM to 8 PM
  • Friday: 9 AM to 5 PM
  • Closed Saturday and Sunday
  • Accessible on the west side of the library by the door facing the flag poles.

Summer Hours

  • Computer Lab A is closed during the summer. However, for Photo ID services, please see the Service Center down the hall in the Lower Level of the .
