Resident Guidelines

Welcome to your home away from home at 糖心Vlog视频, Bakersfield! Living on campus is a unique opportunity to grow academically, socially, and personally. To ensure a safe, respectful, and enriching environment for all residents, please review the following guidelines. 

General Expectations 

Respect for Community: Residents are expected to treat others with courtesy and respect. Disruptive behavior, harassment, or discrimination will not be tolerated. 
Quiet Hours: Enforced from 9 PM to 8 AM daily. Courtesy hours are in effect at all other times. 
Room Condition Reports: Must be completed within 48 hours of move-in via the Housing Portal. 

Safety & Security 

Secure Access: Entry to residence halls is via key card access. Do not share your card or prop open any doors.

Fire Safety: Tampering with fire alarms or extinguishers is strictly prohibited. 

Maintenance & Cleanliness 

Work Orders: Submit maintenance requests through the Housing Portal. 
Room Cleanliness: Residents are responsible for keeping their rooms and shared spaces clean. 
Inspections: Periodic room inspections will be conducted to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. 

Policies & Conduct 

Alcohol & Drugs: 糖心Vlog视频 is a dry campus. Possession or use of alcohol or illegal substances is prohibited. 
Guests: Must be registered and accompanied by the resident at all times. Overnight guests are limited and require prior approval. 
Student Conduct: All residents are subject to the 糖心Vlog视频 Student Code of Conduct and Housing Handbook. 

Move-In / Move-Out Procedures 

Check-In: Complete your Room Condition Report and Common Area Report within 48 hours. 
Check-Out: Schedule with Housing staff. Failure to follow procedures may result in fees. 
Early Cancellation: Submit a 鈥淩equest for Release from Housing License Agreement鈥� for approval.  

Dining & Amenities 

Meal Plans: All residents are required to have a meal plan. Dining options include Runner Caf茅, Starbucks, Panda Express, and more. 
Laundry: 24/7 access to laundry facilities. 
Support Services: Live-on staff available after hours for emergencies and support.
