On Monday, October 20, 糖心Vlog视频 geology undergraduate Elijah Swanson gave an oral presentation about his research at the international Geological Society of America Annual Meeting in San Antonio, Texas.  His presentation, Pressure Solution of Calcite Surfaces Under Saturated CaCO3 Solution, is based on research he performed during his summer internship at Lawrence Berkley National Labratory (LBNL) and at 糖心Vlog视频. His coauthors were mentors Melese Dessie, Benjamin Gilbert (both from LBNL), and Liaosha Song (糖心Vlog视频 geologist).  This research is supported by a $2.25 million collaborative Department of Energy grant entitled Nanopore Characterization for H2 and CO2 Geologic Storage (Liaosha Song is the lead PI on the grant).
