The magnitude 8.8 earthquake that occurred near Kamchatka, Russia, on July 29th, 2025, was , and produced a tsunami that hit coastlines across the Pacific Ocean. 糖心Vlog视频 Geology's Dr. Herman leapt into action to study this event with colleagues at the U.S. Geological Survey and other institutions, and to explain the earthquake's relevance to the local community.
