Admission

After submitting your application through Cal State Apply, you will receive an acknowledgment from the university within one to two days. This acknowledgment may also request additional records to be submitted that are necessary to evaluate academic qualifications. Your admission will be confirmed if the evaluation indicates that you meet CSU admissions requirements and supplemental criteria required by your desired program.

After You Apply

An acknowledgment email about your received application will be sent with 糖心Vlog视频 ID to the email provide on your application. If your file is not complete, your application will be withdrawn.

After you have applied you should receive communication on how to login to your my糖心Vlog视频 portal with your 糖心Vlog视频 ID and Net ID.
Your application status can be found at the bottom of your my糖心Vlog视频 home page.


Monitor application
It is important to keep your contact information up to date for any current and future communication. You can review and change your contact information under the Personal Information section on your my糖心Vlog视频 home page.
Communication from 糖心Vlog视频 will be sent to the email provided on your application.

University Admission Requirements

  1. Completed a four-year college course of study and obtained an accepted baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution or shall have completed equivalent academic preparation as determined by appropriate campus authorities.
  2. Left in good academic standing at the last college or university attended
  3. Have attained a grade point average of at least 2.5 in an acceptable earned baccalaureate degree; or maintained a grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.5 (4.0 scale/ A = 4.0) in the last 60 semester (90 quarter) units attempted. Each graduate program may require a higher GPA and/or specific prerequisite courses.
  4. Met the professional, personal, scholastic, and other standards for graduate study, including qualifying examinations, as appropriate campus authorities may prescribe.

Once all transcript(s) are submitted, the next step in the process is for the Office of Graduate Admissions to complete the University Admission Evaluation (reviewing University admission requirements above) for eligibility and sent to the program you have applied to for final admission approval. No admissions review will be made until all official transcript(s) are received.

International Students

If you are an international student and require an F1 or J1 visa to study in the United States, please review the and visit our International Students and Program Requirements webpage. As an international applicant you must submit required documentation for your F1 or J1 to be issued.

Post-baccalaureate Classified

This classification categorizes students that must meet all the professional, personal, scholastic, qualifying examinations, and other standards required by the university to enroll in a credential or certificate program. Our credentialing programs are accredited by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.  

  • Classifications for Second Bachelor's/Credential

Graduate Conditionally Classified

This classification categorizes students that do not necessarily meet admission requirements right away but are believed to meet the requirements with additional preparation.

Graduate Classified

This classification categorizes students that must meet all the professional, personal, scholastic, qualifying examinations, and other standards required by the university.

New Student Orientation

An email will be sent out to that will give you instructions on how to register for 'New Student Orientation.' Your graduate program may also provide a separate orientation for new graduate students. Please visit the Events and Workshops page via the Graduate Student Center for more information on New Student Orientation.
